I’ll admit to having a Memebox fixation lately.  You know how it is with a new toy, right?  Memebox is a Korean-based beauty company, but they also have a US-based warehouse if you’re here in the States and would like to shop there.  Much faster shipping, plus different sales, products, etc.

Last week Memebox announced they would have something new today, November 3rd, an eyeshadow palette from beauty blogger Pony.

Who is Pony, you may ask?  (I sure did, not being au courant on Korean fashion.)  Pony, real name Park Hye-min, is an extremely popular beauty maven and blogger in South Korea.  If you’re interested you can check her out on YouTube under “Pony’s Beauty Diary.”  Sure, she’s young enough to be my daughter, but I think she has some beautiful looks and makeup tips.

At any rate, I’m a sucker for neutral eyeshadow palettes, and when I saw this one I was struck by how pretty the colors look and how it’s nice to have half mattes and half shimmers.

That Rose Gold!  The included applicators look like junk and I suspect I’ll toss them, but that’s OK.  Price (US) is $18.00 plus s&h, much more reasonable than many of the high-end palettes such as Urban Decay’s Naked series ($54 per).

  1. Urban Decay and their product line of equally degenerate names conveys negativity in more than their prices. I won’t buy it. I’m amazed at millennials who want everything peace and love and vegan but will drop $40 for an eye shadow named to mock their very own generation. Makeup and beauty is for fun, for self-esteem, for creativity! Words mean things and I’m sticking with my old-fashioned notions.
