Now that I’m without a CVS Pharmacy, one of my previous fave places to buy drugstore polish and makeup, I’m not as familiar as I should be with what they carry. But a recent post from All Lacquered Up (a fun one about her top 10 drugstore beauty products) told me that Milani is phasing out their old polish lines into one called Color Statement.
The polishes have an SRP of $3.99 and you can often — like now! — get them in a BOGOHO sale, buy one get one half off. This makes them a budget-conscious alternative to higher-priced polish, although please note that the bottle contains 0.34 oz/10 ml, not what I consider a standard full size of 0.5 oz/15 ml.
I’ve liked almost all the Milanis I’ve tried in the past and look forward to getting a few of these when I can. Several bloggers have posted some amazingly thorough swatch roundups of the new line:
Peachy Polish (review in two parts)
What great photos! I love the look of almost all the cremes, like the dusty green Silhouette. The frosts, no. Much too brushstroke-y. Some pretty top coats too.
