Can’t promise this will be the last one anywhere this year — in fact I’d bet money it won’t be — but Sally Beauty Supply has announced the Finger Paints holiday set of polishes. Best of all, it’s on sale!
The set is called Holiday of Wonders:
Color names are, left to right: Hollydazzle, Midnight Sleigh Ride, Merry Mistletoe, Santa’s Magic, Sparkle and Snowflake, and Elves Bells.
Merry and bright but also extremely predictable: a red, a green, a blue, a silver, a gold, and a silver-to-multicolored glitter. Haven’t we seen these once or twice or ten times in the last month? I do like the names and especially how “Elves Bells” is a pun on “hell’s bells.”
You can see swatches of the gold, silver, and glitter here. Not sure whose web site this is, and I don’t know why the glitter is glowing like a string of Christmas lights, whether that’s its normal look or if someone did some creative lighting for the photos. These three do look very, very pretty.
The SRP is $5.29 but these and other Finger Paints are on sale this month for $3.99, or $3.49 if you’re a Sally Club member. That’s a great price, and it applies both in-store and online . I’m just not sure they’re different enough from several I already own to justify a purchase. I already pigged out on the Color Club holiday collection and also got a few each from Orly’s and China Glaze’s holiday sets. And, yes, I know I’m WAY behind on swatching those!
